About the author

Cathy has been a foster carer for over 20 years, during which time she has looked after more than 70 children, of all ages and backgrounds. Cathy runs training courses on fostering for her local Social Services, and helps draft new fostering procedures and guidelines. She has three teenage children of her own; one of whom was adopted after a long-term foster placement. The name Cathy Glass is a pseudonym.

    I have read all off your books accept Lucy, which I've been waiting for, they are amazing stories, I would love to keep reading them. I've never read so many books. Your an amazing lady Cathy glass and I'm proud to say I've read and enjoyed every one of them.     As with all Cathy Glass books, couldn't put it down. So well written & heartwarming. Hard to believe children have to go through such terrible things, but thank goodness there are wonderful people like Cathy to show them normality.

    This book has you from the beginning, I could not stop reading much to the frustration of my wife. Cathy is a fantastic writer and this is on par with all her books. Could not recommend this anymore.I read till 2am one morning (I start work at 5) Bravo
