    Having been a Man Utd fan all my life, I got disappointed with the amount of money they wanted for tickets so I craved to watch football and went to watch Bolton my other local side. I watched Sam through his career at Bolton week in week out, it's a great insight to the man his life and his thinking. A down to earth guy, making some unbelievable history with great clubs. It was a pleasure to meet him in 2015 at the fergie's golf day in cheshire. I was working at the hotel on nights and he was around and about. It's wonderful to get the insight as to why and how he signed the players he has, the insight into his success being one of the managers to change football by using all the techniques he picked up from America, the sports science, etc. Long may he continue in management, he's a great ambassador for football, and I'm sure he will get England going and give everyone something to talk about, an absolute pleasure to read, well worth it. I thoroughly recommend it. It brings back great memories at the reebok for me.

    All too often football autobiographies are self indulgent and boring. This book however reflects the author and is both interesting factual amusing and well written. I recommend this book to everyone even if you don't know that much about football. As most people will know big Sam has now taken up the challenge at Sunderland so the good news is that Sam will continue to entertain us with his own brand of football which in my view is better than all the foreign managers out there. Sam for England, hopefully that will happen. He deserves it. A true Englishman
